Umurbey Dam

This project, which aims to provide irrigation infrastructure for a 3,661-hectare area of land in the Lapseki and Umurbey plains, comprises of the construction of a clay-core rockfill dam with an 81-meter above-foundation height and a crest length of 458 meters. In this context, concrete lining diversion tunnel with horseshoe cross section; a radial section spillway penstock; a butterfly valve and pressure-relief conical valve were used.
