Construction of Ankara High-Speed Train Station with Build-Operate-Transfer Model

Ankara High-Speed Train Station, one of the largest train stations in Turkey, is completed in accordance with the Design-Build-Finance-Operate model. The project, designed for suburban, freight and conventional train transportation service with HTS operation, is expected to serve 20,000 passengers per day initially and 50,000 passengers in the near future. The Station Building, which has a seating area of 35,000 square meters, fills a total area of 70,000 square meters, including landscaping. The Station Building has an area of 172,985 square meters with a total of six floors, including the ticket hall, platform floors, shopping areas, food courts, office spaces and the hotel floor on three floors of basement and three floors above ground. There are three platforms with a length of 450 meters and a width of 11 meters, and a parking garage with a 1,480-vehicle capacity. The operational term of the Ankara High-Speed Train Station, which will also connect to the existing train station, is 20 years. Kolin Holding is both a member of the investor group and a main contractor of the project.
