Kabil–Kandahar Highway

Within the scope of the Rehabilitation of Economic Facilities and Services (REFS), Infrastructure Rebuilding for Afghanistan Project, financed by United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Louis Berger Group Inc. tendered for the construction of the 340 kilometer-long Kabul–Kandahar Road, and it was built by our subsidiary Kolnat J.V.

Within the scope of the Kandahar–Herat Highway Project; the existing road, bridges and engineering structures were rehabilitated and reconstructed with higher standards. All primary construction equipment, including crushing, screening and asphalt plants, etc., were transported to Afghanistan by cargo aircraft in a short time, as necessitated by the nature of the project. Road constructions were carried out in coordination with mine clearance.
