Rehabilitation and Construction of Köseköy–Gebze Section (Ankara–Istanbul High-Speed Train Project)

The project consist of the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the approximately 56-kilometer double track railway line, one of the busiest sections between Köseköy and Gebze on the Ankara–Istanbul High-Speed Train Line. The project included the construction of railway infrastructure (including earthwork, agricultural tunnels and culverts, various structures, drainage works, surrounding walls), railway superstructure (including ballast and track laying) as well as electromechanical works (including electrification, signaling and telecommunications) for the railway line. The contract, including the electromechanical works projected by the contractor, was carried out in accordance with the FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction.
